In the mid 1980s Canadian painter and printmaker John Hartman began to make visionary colour drypoints that combined his home landscape of Georgian Bay with stories, often placed in the skies of his images. Hartman presents a selection of his colour drypoint prints from 1985 to the present in terms of two key influences, the colour drypoints of David Milne and the aquatints of David Blackwood.
