Free After Three Tuesdays: Costume Making

Tuesday, October 24, 4–6 pm (Ages 14-25)
Weston Family Learning Centre, Art Gallery of Ontario

Want to spook your friends but not your wallet this Halloween? Come on out to this special Halloween - themed workshop with Paddy Leung and let us help you create the D.I.Y. costume of your nightmares! Materials will be provided, including fabric, paper, glue, markers, paint, and tape. You will have the opportunity to showcase your one-of-a-kind costume at the Halloween Runway Show on October 31!

Toronto-based multidisciplinary artist Paddy Leung uses paper, streamers, glitter, and dreams to recreate her own imagined worlds. They turn material into magic, creating intricate, often large-scale installations from the most unlikely materials. Paddy aims to challenge the audience’s perspective while providing a safe space for creative minds of all ages to come together. They facilitate workshops throughout the city and fundraise for community art events. Paddy has been a host of different programs for all ages such as Kid’s Day at Design Exchange, Toronto Book Arts Fair at Artscape Youngplace, Craft Lab with City of Crafts and many more.
