EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

Now on view for the first time are two magnificent late canvases, The Hollow Men (from T.S. Eliot), 1983 and The Golden Bough, 1986, by Robert Motherwell (1915–1991).  Recently gifted to the AGO, these courageous and startling paintings are being shown with two late works by Paterson Ewen and a sculpture by Richard Deacon, also from the AGO permanent collection
