Focused on the face, this unique course looks at identity and self-representation through historical works on paper and contemporary multimedia artworks in the AGO Collection. This five-week workshop will combine observational drawing and discussion in the galleries with in-studio sketches, leading students toward the creation of expressive portraits and drawings.
Materials for the first class are provided. This course meets in the Community Gallery located in the Weston Family Learning Centre. Please check all oversized bags, portfolios and coats. Participants must be 18 or older. Space is limited.
