Drawing Explorations: Fantastical Landscapes
Pushing lucid free association through multiple medium portals, bend and mash your stories into monstrous masterpieces while learning innovative drawing processes. This workshop will be exciting interactive drawing play. Listen to horror film scores, draw inspiration from personal nightmares and other popular horror genres, to create your emotional landscape. Your artwork will be put into historical context through the AGO collections and exhibitions referencing artists like the surrealist Max Ernst and contemporary filmmaker Guillermo del Toro.
This course meets in the AGO's Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School. Participants must be 18 or older. Space is limited.
