Drawing from the Vaults

Did you know that the AGO has a massive vault of art full of pieces that are rarely exhibited? Now’s your chance to view the works and be inspired by what you see. Classes will be a mix of drawing exercises in the galleries and in the Marvin Gelber Print & Drawing Study Centre. Bring your own supplies: an 11" x 14" coil-bound sketchbook, a set of soft pencils or one each of H, B, 3B, 6B, a kneadable eraser and a white vinyl eraser, a set of 24 watercolour pencils, a self-contained pencil sharpener.

Students are asked to print out a copy of their receipt and gather in the Community Gallery located in the Weston Family Learning Centre for the start of the first class. Receipt must be presented at the start of each class. Please check any oversized bags, portfolios and outerwear. Participants must be 18 or older. To get the most from this workshop, we suggest you take Introduction to Drawing first.
