Integrated Studio Projects: Painting Experimentations (14-18 yrs)
This workshop focuses on painting experimentations.
Integrated Studio Projects (ISP) is an intensive interdisciplinary studio course with a focus on contemporary art making. Students are exposed to new materials, techniques and contemporary artistic practice through gallery visits, discourse and studio. While led by an exploration of contemporary painting practices, materials and processes might also include mixed and new media, installation and 3-D construction. ISP is designed for youth who wish to build technical skills, explore their own creative practice and build a portfolio.
Students work with highly qualified instructors who are practicing artists. Courses are inspired by current exhibitions and other highlights from the AGO's collections.
ATTENTION: No class Monday February 19.
All materials are included. This course meets in the AGO's Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School.
