Life Drawing in the Galleries
Discover the human form through observation and drawing, surrounded and inspired by master works in the AGO collection. This workshop focuses on an intuitive approach to life drawing through integration of perceptual and technical skills. Recognize bone, gesture, muscle, and skin. Professional life models will utilize a variety of poses. Through a combination of guided drawing practices, students will learn to draw with greater confidence and ease.
Students are responsible for the purchase of their own materials. A material list will be provided on the first day of class.
Students are asked to print out a copy of their receipt and gather in the Community Gallery located in the AGO's Weston Family Learning Centre for the start of the first class. Receipt must be presented at the start of each class. Please check any oversized bags and outerwear.
