Printmaking Explorations: Reductive Linocut

Linocut is a sculptural printmaking technique that offers remarkable, graphic results. Reductive linocut takes the black and white image and introduces color and chromatic depth through a wide variety of layering and mosaic techniques. Students will be guided through the process of creating, decomposing and recomposing a multicolour image.

The class includes all required materials. Students may choose to purchase supplementary materials.

This course meets in the AGO's Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School. Participants must be 18 or older. Space is limited.
