Exclusive | Diane Arbus: Photographs, 1956-1971

Thursday, February 20, 2020 | 5:30pm

The legendary American photographer Diane Arbus revolutionized portraiture through the range of subjects she captured and her distinctive style. She created a body of work that reflects a yearning to make visible the diverse range of humanity nudists, carnival performers, dwarfs, children, and suburban families. This exhibition is drawn from and celebrates the AGO’s recent landmark acquisition of over 500 works by this remarkable artist.
