OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. ENTRANTS MUST BE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONTARIO AND OF THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR PROVINCE/TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE. SUBJECT TO ALL FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL, MUNICIPAL AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. CONTEST PERIOD AND DRAW DATES
The “INFINITY AGO ULTIMATE PACKAGE” contest (the “Contest”) period commences at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on November 1, 2018, and concludes at 11:59 a.m. ET on November 30, 2018 (the “Contest Period”). One (1) potential winner will be selected by a random draw from all eligible donors to the INFINITY AGO Campaign and on-site ballots. The random draw will take place by December 7, 2018. The Contest is run by the Art Gallery of Ontario (“The Contest Sponsor”).
2. TO ENTER
No purchase necessary. There are two (2) methods of entry. Visit www.ago.ca/InfinityAGO, donate to the INFINITY AGO campaign and complete the submission form with your full name, full address, telephone and e-mail address; OR, alternatively, visit the Art Gallery of Ontario – located at 317 Dundas Street West, Toronto Ontario, M5T 1G4 – and complete a paper entry form available from the Welcome Desk or Information Desk located in the main lobby. Forms can be obtained and submitted during regular business hours through the duration of the contest. You will need to provide your full name, full address, telephone and e-mail address. One entry per person. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to current employees and volunteers of the Art Gallery of Ontario. Employee or volunteer must be classified as active during the Contest Period and are legal residents of Ontario, who have reached the age of majority in their province/territory (Ontario) of residence at the time of entry into the Contest. Each entrant shall be eligible to win only one (1) prize and will not be allowed to win more than once during twelve (12) consecutive calendar months.
4. THE PRIZE
An INFINITY AGO ULTIMATE PACKAGE is valid for up to six (guests) in total. This package includes a sleepover at the AGO, exclusive access into the Infinity Mirror Room, dinner at the AGO Bistro, a private screening of the Kusama: Infinity film in Jackman Hall and a continental breakfast in the morning.
The overnight stay at the Art Gallery of Ontario will take place on a Friday once the Infinity Mirror Room is installed in Spring 2019. The Ultimate Package must be claimed and completed before August 31, 2019.
Sleepover participants will sleep on the floor of Galleria Italia. Washrooms are accessible for changing. Please note that we do not have shower facilities and, in true sleepover fashion, all participants will bunk down on the floor to sleep overnight. Please note: Sleeping area is not carpeted and is not completely dark as Galleria Italia is a light filled space, we recommend bringing sleeping masks.
For the AGO Bistro dinner for up to six (6) guests portion of the Ultimate Package, the winner will be given an AGO Gift Card with a value of $500 that must be used the evening of the sleepover for the dinner.
Additional details related to the sleepover will be provided to the contest winner in Spring 2019.
The above prize is non refundable, non transferable, not convertible to cash, not replaceable with another program and must be accepted as awarded. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer. Winner and guests must participate in the activities included in the Ultimate Package on a predetermined Friday evening to Saturday morning and any unused activity will be forfeited.
The Art Gallery of Ontario, its trustees, officers, directors, employees, agents and independent contractors shall not be liable for any injury to the INFINITY AGO ULTIMATE PACKAGE participants or loss or damage to the participants’ personal property arising from, or in any way resulting from, participants’ participation in the Ultimate Package activities.
Booking this package is reliant on space availability. Full cancellation penalties will apply should the prizewinner decide to cancel and re-book.
In the event the companion is a minor, the companion’s parent or legal guardian must sign the release and declaration of liability on behalf of the minor. If the adult winner is not the parent or legal guardian of the minor, the parent or legal guardian must consent to the designated accompanying adult in taking part in the Prize. Other restrictions may apply.
5. PRIZE ADMINISTRATION
Within twenty-four (24) hours of the random draw, the selected entrant will be notified by telephone or by e-mail at the number or address recorded on his/her submitted entry and must respond within two (2) business days to claim the prize. In order to be eligible to win, the selected entrant must (i) comply with all Contest Rules and (ii) correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical, time-limited, skill-testing question during a pre-arranged telephone call. In the event that the selected entrant is unable to answer the question, cannot be reached within 24 hours of the Draw Date or otherwise does not meet all Contest conditions, his/her Prize will be forfeited and The Contest Sponsor will award the Prize (subject to these Contest Rules) to another selected entrant drawn at random from the remaining eligible entries.
6. PUBLICITY
By entering this Contest, and opting in to one or both of the opt-in options, the entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of administering the Contest, to receive special added value offers, promotions, contests and other commercial communication. By accepting a Prize, a winner consents to the collection, use and disclosure of their name, address (city, province), voice, recorded video, statements and photographs or other likenesses for use by The Contest Sponsor and its affiliates for publicity purposes in connection with the Contest in any media or formats, including but not limited to the Internet, without further notice, permission or compensation. Personal information will not otherwise be used or disclosed without consent. Information collected from entrants is subject to the Art Gallery of Ontario’s Privacy Policy. 7. GENERAL RULES
The Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for lost, illegible, incomplete, inaccurate or destroyed entries, and all such entries are void. The Contest Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer lines or networks, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry material/data not satisfying the entry requirements or that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by these Contest Rules and/or has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these Contest Rules, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.
The Contest Sponsor reserve the right to terminate or suspend this Contest or to amend the Contest Rules at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, due to any reasons such as tampering or infection by computer virus, then The Contest Sponsor reserve the right to terminate the Contest and conduct the selection process from all previously received eligible entries. The Contest Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with or resulting from the Contest or the Prizes, including but not limited to any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of the entrant’s participation in the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, The Contest Sponsor reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
All entries become the permanent property of the Art Gallery of Ontario. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
In the event of a dispute as to who submitted an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Selected entrants may be required to provide The Contest Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.
