Art of Drawing

Learn to draw in the company of masterworks and thought-provoking contemporary artists. Enjoy drawing exercises, observation and discussion about art and artists as you visit various galleries and exhibit spaces.

Students are asked to bring the following supplies: an 11" x 14" coil–bound sketchbook, a set of soft pencils or one each of H, B, 3B, 6B, a kneadable eraser and a white vinyl eraser, a set of 24 watercolour pencils, a self–contained pencil sharpener.

The course takes place in the galleries, but students meet in the Community Gallery located in the Weston Family Learning Centre. Please check any oversized bags, portfolios and outerwear before the start of class. Participants must be 18 or older. Suitable for beginners and returning students.
