Art of Drawing in the Galleries

Learn to draw in the company of masterworks and thought-provoking contemporary artists. Enjoy drawing exercises, observation and discussion about art and artists as you visit various galleries and exhibit spaces. Students are asked to bring the following supplies: an 11" x 14" coil–bound sketchbook, a set of soft pencils (B through 9B, or one each of 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B), a kneadable eraser and a white vinyl eraser, a set of 24 watercolour pencils, a self–contained pencil sharpener.

Students are asked to print out a copy of their receipt and gather in the Community Gallery located in the WFLC for the start of the first class. Receipt must be presented at the start of each class. Please check any oversized bags, portfolios and outerwear. Participants must be 18 or older. Suitable for beginners and returning students.
