Close up of sketchbook, someone drawing in the gallery

Get outside this fall! Learn quick drawing and painting techniques in a range of media that will capture your favourite architectural or landscape details, or create an image of a street view as you explore new places or visit familiar ones afresh.

Instruction will start from the Art Gallery of Ontario and in the neighbourhood for direct observation.

Together as a group we walk to different locations for our photographic walks. If weather is not favourable, an alternate location may be used. Please be prepared for all weather conditions and come wearing comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for walking.

Students are asked to show a copy of their receipt and meet your instructor at the Grange Park, south entrance doors of the AGO off Beverley Street on Week 1.  Masks are required for safe gathering outdoors. Spots are limited to 9 participants.
