Drawing Explorations: Large-Scale Portraiture

Inspired by the exhibition, Mickalene Thomas: Femmes Noires, this course experiments with both line and collage techniques, leveraging the current appetite and expression for large-scale portraiture in contemporary art today.

Materials for the first class are provided. On the first class, you will receive a list of materials required for subsequent classes.

This class meets in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School. Participants must be 18 or older. To get the most from this workshop, we suggest you take Introduction to Drawing first.

*No class on February 18.
