Introduction to Comics: I AM HERE (11-13 yrs.) Intensive
The class will take special note of a key idea or approach by local artist Fiona Smyth, and the artwork she has created for the exhibition, I AM HERE: Home Movies and Everyday Masterpieces. Learn the art of drawing, storyboarding and character development in this in person course. Students will work on storyboards, flip books, trading cards, and other projects. Have fun exploring these unique and playful art forms. Students will discover their own voice and narrative through 'on the spot' discussion and review of even the smallest details.
All materials for this course are supplied by the AGO.
This course meets in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School.
