Introduction to Sculpture
Designed for the beginner who wishes to work in three dimensions, this workshop takes students through step by step processes to create unique sculptures. Working with clay and plaster, students will learn about the various techniques and processes of traditional and contemporary sculptural practice. Designed for the beginner who wishes to work in three dimensions to complete a sculptural work, the course includes an introduction to additive and subtractive techniques.
The class includes all required materials. Students may choose to purchase supplementary materials.
This course meets in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School. Participants must be 18 or older. Suitable for beginners.
