Watercolour Explorations: Impressionism Today
Discover the unique properties of watercolor and practice a variety of application techniques with hands-on experimentation through quick exercises and the development of more resolved pieces. A visit to the galleries will also reveal a broad range of works in our collection that will inspire your unique approach. Inspiration will also be drawn from the exhibition, Impressionism in the Age of Industry: Monet, Pissarro and more. Students will consider the impressions of Paris to influence new interpretations of our city, Toronto today.
Materials for the first class are provided. Students will receive a list of required materials for the following classes.
This workshop meets in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School. Participants must be 18 or older. To get the most from this workshop, we suggest you take Introduction to Watercolour first.
