Watercolour Explorations: Portraits

Discover the unique properties of watercolor and practice a variety of application techniques with hands-on experimentation through quick exercises and the development of more resolved pieces. Students will work from direct observation to build portraiture skills, as well as gain inspiration from works in the AGO’s collection to create their own unique approach to watercolour portraiture. 

To get the most from this course, we suggest you take Introduction to Watercolour first or have some prior watercolour experience. Meet in the Dr. Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School.
