Learn the art of drawing, storyboarding and character development in this online course. Students will work on storyboards, flip books, trading cards, collaborative comic book anthologies and other projects. Have fun exploring these unique and playful art forms. Students will discover their own voice and narrative through 'on the spot' discussion and review of even the smallest details. The class will take special note of a key idea or approach represented in the exhibition Picasso: Painting the Blue Period, and/or Robert Houle: Red Is Beautiful, both opening at the AGO this fall. Colour is used as a means of connecting personal voice to the broader community of artists, both past and present.
