Carved in green stone flecked with black, it is depicted squatting on an integral oval base, the snout lifted up slightly. The details are carefully delineated with a ribbed longitudinal groove running from mouth to tail.

Crouched on its back legs with the head held alert, two red brown eyes applied either side of the head. The body, marked with a series of raised lines to indicate the natural markings, is pierced for suspension.
