Canoo Cultural Access Pass

The AGO is proud to be a founding partner of the Canoo Cultural Access Pass, administered by the Institute of Canadian Citizenship (ICC). Through this program, new Canadian citizens and permanent residents can obtain a year-long free pass, providing them with free admission to over 1400 experiences and places to visit, as well as discounts on travel, concerts, festivals, outdoor activities, sports, and more.

This unprecedented program began as a pilot project in 2007, created by the AGO. Titled "Citizen AGO," it was conceived as an effort to promote active citizenship and help new citizens learn more about their new home country through art. The pilot was embraced by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship, and the program is now available across Canada.

For more information on the Cultural Access Pass program for new Canadian citizens, please visit the Canoo website.
