Join Georgiana Uhlyarik, Fredrik S. Eaton Curator of Canadian Art as she discusses a major work by prolific Canadian modernist, Marian Dale Scott. In the 1930s, the artist turned to the plant world for creative inspiration as she explored nature’s essential forms. Jade Plant, with its succulent, organic forms, anticipates her later interest in cellular structure, further distilling her vision.
