Curator’s Talk: Florine Stettheimer

Painter, poet, designer and feminist are only a few of the words that describe the multifaceted early 20th-century artist Florine Stettheimer (1871-1944), one of the unsung pioneers of modern painting in America. The AGO’s Georgiana Uhlyarik the co-curator of Florine Stettheimer: Painting Poetry and Fredrik S. Eaton Curator of Canadian Art, discussed Stettheimer’s life and work.

Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Florine Stettheimer: Painting Poetry
