Free After Three Thursdays: Butterfly Mounting

Ages 14-25

Preserve nature and beauty in this one-of-a-kind workshop and learn how to mount butterflies with Teta Kika! All butterflies ethically sourced.

Ankixa Risk is an artist who breathes new life into the deceased. Risk works with Taxidermy, Entomology, and a range of other artistic skills and mediums which she uses to create unique dioramas and works of art honouring the dead. She has been running a series of workshops titled Casual Taxidermy since 2014, and her work can be seen in Billy Talent’s new video for their single Ghost Ship of Cannibal Rats.
