Now in its 17th year, New Visions is one of Inside Out’s longest-running initiatives. The program is proudly co-presented by Charles Street Video. The intergenerational component, and the diversity of voices and narratives that are explored in the videos, are at the heart of this significant program. Close to 120 participants have told their stories through the New Visions lens, with subjects ranging from immigration, family, dancing, loneliness, elder neglect, same-sex relationships, abuse, coming out, religion, the prison industrial complex, aliens, employment, music and mental health, to everything in between. This year we celebrate five new additions, whose videos will both challenge and touch us.

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date. The AGO will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than three weeks notice. Please note that automated captioning is available for all online programs. For onsite visits, the AGO offers these supports for an accessible visit. Please contact us to make a request for these or other accessibility accommodations.
