Snow Everywhere

Wednesday December 12, 7 pm
Walker Court, Art Gallery of Ontario

Join us in honouring Michael Snow, Canada’s preeminent artist, on his 90th birthday.  In addition to remarks and reflections, you will also be treated to a performance by his long-running music project with CCMC, including other Canadian art luminaries such as Paul Dutton, John Kamevaar and John Oswald, in addition to Mr. Snow himself.

The AGO holds the collection of record for this prolific artist as well as his archives, and several of his works will be on view throughout the museum for the occasion: Expo Walking Woman series of the sculptures from 1967 in the Maxine Granovsky & Ira Gluskin Hall; iris-IRIS (1972) in the Philip B. Lind Gallery; and Conception of Light (1993) on the 4th floor of the Contemporary Tower.

For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date. The AGO will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than three weeks notice. Please note that automated captioning is available for all online programs. For onsite visits, the AGO offers these supports for an accessible visit. Please contact us to make a request for these or other accessibility accommodations.
