Calling all writers, editors, and Wiki enthusiasts!
The Art Gallery of Ontario Library & Archives is hosting a Wikipedia editing session to continue the work of diversifying visual arts content and editorship on Wikipedia.
For our June event, we welcome past collaborators and new editors to help build Wikipedia content on topics related to visual artists and artist collectives in all disciplines. People of all sexualities, gender identities and expressions are welcomed and encouraged to attend. No Wikipedia editing experience is necessary – there will be a tutorial and one-on-one coaching available.
Please bring a laptop and create a Wikipedia account in advance.
For requests for Verbal Description, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and/or live captioning for online and onsite programming, please provide three weeks notice in advance of the event date. The AGO will make every effort to provide accommodation for requests made with less than three weeks notice. Please note that automated captioning is available for all online programs.
