Writing Explorations Inspired by Kara Hamilton: Water in Two Colours

Friday June 21
Art Gallery of Ontario
Weston Family Learning Centre, Art Gallery of Ontario

Writing Explorations is a series of group workshops inspired by the AGO Collection or special exhibitions, guided by an artist-instructor. Learn to express yourself in written and visual form, building on the personal experiences and narrative strategies of great artists. Each month you’ll visit a new location in the Gallery to see a selection of artwork.

Conducted in an intimate setting, workshop participants will be encouraged to reflect, write and share their impressions of selected artwork inspired by the exhibition, KARA HAMILTON: WATER IN TWO COLOURS

Bring your own supplies: 11"x14" coil bound sketchbook, pencils: 2B, 4B,8B, white vinyl eraser and a pencil sharpener with a well to collect shavings.

Students are asked to print out a copy of their receipt and meet your instructor in the Community Gallery located in the AGO's Weston Family Learning Centre. Participants must be 18 or older. Suitable for beginners.
