Share Your Inner Selfies: Opening

Wednesday, July 6, 6 pm
Community Gallery located in the WFLC

Join artists Hanif Janmohamed and Maria Lantin to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Share Your Inner Selfies. Their project, called Inner Selfies, asks us to question our assumptions about identity. It uses an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan of the human brain as a symbolic container of the thoughts, beliefs, feelings, memories and sensations that echo through our brain, body and heart. The artists ask us to explore this maker space, their website, and focus on what's inside of us to create unique sculptures and digital artworks that represent our inner selfies.
