Clay, slay and play

Are you between the ages of 14 and 25 and looking for a creative outlet, or know someone who is? FREE After Three workshops at the AGO offer something you can’t get anywhere else.

The AGO has lots of creative offerings for youth between the ages of 14 and 25. Whether you’re interested in making your own skateboard, want to learn to disco step or to create with clay, there’s something for you at FREE After Three. Oasis Skateboard Factory, House dance crew Warehouse Jacks and artist Ness Lee present some incredible youth workshops for the spring season that we can’t wait for you to try. Oh – and it if wasn’t obvious already – it’s all free!

Here’s some of what you can get into:

Skateboard Building with Oasis Skateboard Factory

Ever wanted to create something all on your own? Here’s your chance! On Tuesdays from April 16 to June 4, Oasis Skateboard Factory will teach you how to make your own board from scratch. When you’re done, you can take your newly crafted skateboard home to enjoy. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

House Dancing with Warehouse Jacks

Rather be dancing? Then bust a move with Toronto House dance crew Warehouse Jacks. Learn the unique styles and techniques of House dance, no matter your level. Come out each Wednesday from April 24 to June 19 and get moving with us.

Clay and Ceramics with Ness Lee

Explore the basic techniques used in hand building with clay. Create your own pinch pot piggy banks, geometric vessels, brooches and more! Join local artist Ness Lee for a new lesson each Thursday from April 18 to June 20.
