The Norma Ridley Members' Lounge is a dedicated space for Members to relax, rest, and recharge. Located in The Grange, a historic Georgian manor and the first home of the Art Museum of Toronto, it is now a part of the Art Gallery of Ontario and a national historic site. 

Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the Grange while surrounded by great Canadian artworks selected by the AGO Curatorial team.

Norma Ridley Members Lounge FAQ

Do I need to reserve a table?

The Norma Ridley Members’ Lounge seating is first-come, first-served.

Will I need to show my member card to get in?

Yes. Members should ensure that their membership card is readily accessible and up to date.

Can I bring non-member guests? Do they require a ticket?

Absolutely! Go ahead and show off that membership! If you have guest privileges included with your membership, your guests will not require tickets to enter. Any additional guests will require General Admission tickets to enter.

I’m an Annual Passholder, can I use the Members’ Lounge?

Only Members at the Admirer level and up are eligible to access the Norma Ridley Members’ Lounge. Annual Passholders can upgrade their membership to enjoy the use of the Members’ Lounge.

Do I need to purchase anything to sit in the Member’s Lounge?

Members can enjoy the Members’ Lounge with or without purchase of food or beverage.

How can I access the lounge?

The Norma Ridley Members’ Lounge, located in the Grange, can be accessed from the Joey and Toby Tanenbaum Sculpture Atrium at the south end of the AGO. Access is available via stairs or ramp.

Is the Norma Ridley Members’ Lounge accessible?

The Members’ Lounge remains completely accessible for all members and has newly introduced furniture that better meets AODA (The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) standards to ensure that all members can enjoy the space.

Can I book a private event in the Members’ Lounge?

Private events in the lounge are available to book under specific criteria and membership levels. Please reach out to events@ago.ca for more information.
