The AGO is the place to be this winter for creative 14–25 year-olds. Starting this month on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, FREE After Three workshops invite you to create and print your own zines, learn vogue dancing (a dance style popularized by queer communities of colour in the late 1980s) or try your hand at DJing – all for zero dollars! The workshops are led by talented local artists like Blank Canvas Collective, legendary vogue pioneer Twysted Miyake-Mugler and Colour Code Printing’s Jenny Gitman and Jesjit Gill.

Here are some of our exciting FREE After Three workshops you won’t want to miss this season:

Drew a Blank Tuesdays
Curious about DJing? Want to learn how to edit photos? Or maybe you’re a budding artist and want to learn about grant writing. At Drew a Blank Tuesdays, artists from Blank Canvas Collective will teach you skills to succeed in creative industries like art, music and more. This six-week workshop series in partnership with Blank Canvas Collective offers an array of courses to enhance your artistic skills each Tuesday from January 15 to February 12.

Kiki Lounge Wednesdays
Strike a pose with Twysted Miyake-Mugler at Kiki Lounge Wednesdays. Whether it’s your first time voguing or you want to brush up on your dance chops, you’re invited to learn the art of voguing each Wednesday from January 16 to February 13. And get ready to strut your stuff on February 20 at the much-anticipated Kiki Lounge Ball in Walker Court.

Risograph Print Jam Thursdays
In this workshop, each Thursday from January 17 to February 21, you can craft your own
zine, make a cool poster for your walls or create and print a collage using a
Risograph (an environmentally friendly printer that uses
soy-based inks to produce unique prints in an instant).
