Library & Archives Open Hours

Wednesdays, 1PM to 5PM
E.P. Taylor Library & Archives, Art Gallery of Ontario

The Edward P. Taylor Library & Archives reading room is open to everyone, and we’d love for you to visit! Join us every Wednesday afternoon between 1 to 5 pm to explore our collections, browse new arrivals, or simply spend some quiet time with our materials.

During open hours, you’re welcome to:

  • Browse books, magazines, files, and pamphlets from our main library collections
  • Discover a rotating selection of new acquisitions on display
  • Ask questions and get help from staff with finding materials or beginning your research

You’ll find us on the Concourse Level of the gallery.

To learn more about what we hold, please visit our Library & Archives webpage or search our online catalogue before or after your visit.

Please note that rare books, artists’ books, archives, and special collections are available by appointment only. To arrange a visit to see these materials, please send us an email at [email protected], and we'll be happy to help you plan your research.
