Christo and Jeanne-Claude: Works from the Weston Collection

January 22 - May 15, 2005

EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

This exhibition offers a comprehensive encounter with the innovative, strikingly beautiful work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude - two of the leading artists of our time. Famous for their large-scale public projects that reorient our habitual relationship with urban environments and rural landscapes, Christo and Jeanne-Claude are still at the centre of the art world more than forty years after beginning their collaboration and first wrapping everyday objects. On February 12, the artists launch their current project: The Gates: Project for Central Park, New York City.
