The Gallery School at the AGO hosts courses and workshops that explore creativity in all its dimensions. It’s a busy, bustling place, open year-round, which welcomes learners of all ages and skill levels.
The Gallery School connects people more deeply to the art featured in the galleries. Studio artists develop new skills and techniques, and they meet others who share a blooming passion for art-making.
This wall display includes drawings, photographs, prints, paintings and watercolours by students in our studio courses for adults, and the Integrated Studio Program for youth developing their art portfolios.
At the centre is the community garden, featuring art made in our summer camps for kids and the Dr. Mariano Elia Hands-On Centre. Watch the garden seed and grow each week with new art.

The Community Gallery in the Weston Family Learning Centre is a project space which provides a platform for artistic experimentation and dissemination. Focused specifically on the processes of making art, and those ideas that feed into contemporary artistic practice, the gallery seeks to showcase the creativity of our museum visitors.
