EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

Showcasing technical innovation by influential European and American artists of the 20th century, the 18 prints on view in these two adjoining galleries, among them works by Barbara Hepworth, Richard Hamilton, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg and Frank Stella, are from the collection of the Canadian economist and art enthusiast Grant L. Reuber (1927–2018).

Reuber’s interest in art began in the 1970s, and he acquired these works in the decades that followed. He considered this selection of prints the most historically significant part of his collection. His collection was gifted to the AGO in 2018.
