Present Tense 11: Karen Henderson

June 2 - August 22, 1999

EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

The work of Toronto artist Karen Henderson is the 11th exhibition in Present Tense, an ongoing series featuring current work by Canadian and international contemporary artists.

Karen Henderson has worked with substances ranging from molasses to ink to water. Taking an investigative approach to her materials, Henderson isolates their unique features and creates compelling and thoughtful installations that invite viewers to consider the mysteries of our physical reality. A new site-specific piece will be presented with other work in this exhibition.
