Present Tense: Eddo Stern

June 16 to August 29, 2004

EXHIBITION OVERVIEW

The first solo museum exhibition of Eddo Stern, an Israeli artist now working in Los Angeles, presents new works in video and sculpture that treat computer war games both as subject and material. Stern combines snippets of graphic digitized violence with a lyrical touch that presumes a level of acceptance toward escalated conflict in contemporary society.
