These photographs capture the cityscapes, architectural details and landmarks of Montreal, Ottawa, Quebec City and other locations during a period of tremendous growth. This installation features the work of Topley, Henderson, Notman and other photographers who steadfastly observed the urban experience in all its complexity and rich detail. All works are from the permanent collection of the AGO.
