EXHIBITION OVERVIEW
This exhibition features 50 of Wegman’s stunning large-format Polaroid photographs of his beloved Weimarners in fashions inspired by top designers. The works feature colour photographs of the subjects posed in chic hats and racy black stilettos, leopard skin bikinis and dramatic blond wigs.
Highlighting Fashion Photographs is a special installation of his early and recent video works along with a selection of Wegman’s drawings and watercolours, from the 1970s to his current “extended postcards” series. This exhibition is the first public showing of Wegman’s work in Toronto since 1981.
