ACTIVITY

Today We Reboot the Planet II is an multi-faceted installation piece created by Argentinian contemporary artist Adrián Villar Rojas. Shelves, lined with items composed of clay, organic and inorganic materials, rest on a brick base in the Gallery. Through this work, the artist imagines what kind of fossils and objects we will leave behind as our legacy.

QUESTION

What objects, organic or inorganic, would you add to this shelf?

Draw (or colour) objects for the shelf

Will your toy dinosaur make it on the shelf? What about your favourite rocks? Add your objects to the shelf.

  1. If you have access to a printer, print the activity card, draw your objects and colour the drawing.

  2. If you do not have access to a printer, draw your own shelf. Colour it and share it.

  3. Make them as realistic or not as you wish!
