Age 5
Spin the colour wheel and join us on a colourful artmaking adventure! Mix and match your favourite colours and explore all the hues of the rainbow while painting, drawing, sculpting, printmaking and more!

Art Explorers
Ages 5 and 6-7
In this camp, we explore shapes, colours, textures, materials and a bunch of different ways to make art! From painting and drawing to sculpture and printmaking, we’re going to explore it all and have so much fun discovering new things together!

Express Yourself
Ages 6-7
Let your creativity shine in this camp that’s all about you and your favourite things. You’ll learn how to express yourself through artmaking while creating everything from oil pastel self-portraits to painting and collaging abstract works of art.

Don’t just make it…play with it! In this camp, you’ll create awesome art that you can play with – like puppets, custom trading cards, masks and more. Come stretch your imagination and play with us!

Imaginary Worlds
Ages 6-7 and 8-10
In this multimedia camp, let your imagination run wild while you design your own room, your own planet, your own universe and everything you’d find in it. Let’s zoom into the future and go back to the past to create new and awesome imaginary worlds using a wide range of artmaking materials.

Build It!
Ages 6-7 and 8-10
From tall things to small things, we’ll satisfy your curiosity to learn how to put things together in new and unusual ways. Using all kinds of materials – like paper and glue to cardboard and clay – we’ll transform things from 2-D to 3-D, designing and building awesome structures, sculptures and even a marble run!

Animal Architecture
Ages 6-7, 8-10, and 11-13
Come explore the wonderful world of animals! Draw inspiration from animal architecture by looking at bird’s nests, beehives, seashells and more to draw, paint, sculpt and build your own wonderful animal creations.

Materials Rediscovered
Ages 8-10 and 11-13
In this camp, you create art using everyday and found objects, transforming the ordinary into extraordinary. We’ll explore everything from painting to sculpture and collage, drawing inspiration from the Gallery’s new Brian Jungen exhibition, opening June 20.

Nature by Design
Ages 8-10 and 11-13
Be inspired by nature and all its wonders in this design-based camp, where you’ll make furniture inspired by flowers, buildings inspired by leaves, and you’ll even create your own botanical wallpaper patterns.

Animation
Ages 8-10 and 11-13
Join us for a journey through hand-drawn and digital animation – from flipbooks to animation apps, we’ll explore a range of animation techniques including paper cut-outs and Claymation. Bring your characters to life in this awesome animation camp!

Cartooning
Ages 8-10 and 11-13
Campers learn the art of drawing, storyboarding and character development, working on projects that can include flip books, trading cards and collaborative comic book anthologies. Have fun while exploring this unique and playful art form!
