Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you’ve studied art for years, the AGO has a course for you. The Anne Tanenbaum Gallery School offers a broad range of courses in a fun and supportive environment that includes access to our galleries for added inspiration.

Courses and workshops are offered for all ages, including babes and families, children and youth.

Community Gallery: Share Your Inner Selfies

Who are you on the inside? Millions of selfies are taken and shared every day - what do they really reveal about us?

Vancouver-based artists Hanif Janmohamed and Maria Lantin have created an online experimental Inner Selfie Generator for us to imagine and represent our inner selves.

Hands-On Centre (reopening September 21, 2022)

At The Dr. Mariano Elia Hands-On Centre, you'll always find artmaking and creative play activities for the whole family, from the youngest learner on up! Enjoy artmaking, constructing, storytelling, costume play, making new friends and exploring. 

Admission to the Hands-On Centre is included in your General Admission ticket, or free unlimited admission with your family membership.
