August Goldstein (he/him) is currently pursuing his BA at the University of Toronto with a focus on Gender Studies and Visual Studies. His personal art practice is interdisciplinary, investing heavily in prose, drawing, and collage. His artwork explores playfulness, reflection, identity, and the absurdity of getting older. He has previously collaborated to curate and facilitate many youth art programs at the Art Garden in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. He hopes to use his own practice to provide trans youth with more hopeful and happy narratives in queer identity as well as create more queer and trans oriented artistic spaces for youth in the future.
