Ren Lam (they/he) is a graphic designer+digital artist born and raised in Treaty 1 (Winnipeg, Manitoba). They received their BFA (Honours) in Graphic Design from the University of Manitoba in 2021, and subsequently interned with the Manitoba Craft Council and TakeHome BIPOC Arts House.Their practice is largely guided by playfulness, experimentation, and a desire to keep learning about everything. What that looks like is rekindling their printmaking practice to keep their hands busy and exploring 3D/motion design to keep their brain twisted in a knot.When they’re not pushing pixels, you can find them making chainmaille (see: @_powerfantasy_ on Instagram) or attempting a recipe they found on TikTok. Ren is currently working, learning, and running all around the GTA, trying to have as much fun as they can.
