AGO All Hours returns this January, inviting visitors to enjoy a day of warmth, storytelling and comfort. Guest curated by OCADU's Criticism & Curatorial Practice (MFA) students, experience a cozy campsite in the heart of the museum, pop-up tours and performances by emerging Toronto artists.

AGO ALL HOURS IS ALWAYS FREE FOR AGO ANNUAL PASS HOLDERS, AGO MEMBERS & VISITORS 25 AND UNDER.
12pm - 8pm, GALLERIA ITALIA
Cozy up in Galleria Italia as Tea Base, a grassroots collective of queer East and South-East Asian artists, transforms the space into a tea shop. Visitors are invited to sample Chinese teas and to join in a game of Mahjong.
All Day, WALKER COURT
The centre of the museum will be transformed into an imaginary campsite. Join a flurry of snowflake-making and help blanket Walker Court in a glittering layer of freshly created snow.
All Day, HENRY MOORE CENTRE
Lindsay Dobbin is a mixed Indigenous (Mohawk)/settler artist whose video installation, Arrival is an engaging sound piece featuring tidal effects that invite viewers to contemplate and relax.
4pm, 6pm, 8pm on the hour, THROUGHOUT THE GALLERIES
Join writers from OCADU's Spoken Word, Dub & Performance class, taught by the legendary Lillian Allen, who will engage with works in the collection in a series of pop-up talks focused on themes of “cozy” and “winter”.
Space open 11 - 8pm with 15 min performances at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm and 6pm
PRINTS AND DRAWING CENTRE
Brittany Brooks presents an interactive installation that creates a campfire storytelling experience. Brooks, along with Avery Mikolič-O'Rourke, will perform throughout the day. In between performances viewers are invited to make shadow puppets, tell stories, and enjoy a cozy and nostalgic atmosphere.
11am - 12pm, COMMUNITY GALLERY
Come explore the AGO's spectacular building and fabulous treasures in the galleries! This pre-registered tour, led by a member of the Deaf Community, is designed to support deaf experiences and discovery in the gallery.
11am, WALKER COURT
JP (Fay) + Kaleb (Fluffy) are both drag performers and experienced child educators. Join them for storytime and singing in the centre of the museum.
1pm, 3pm, 5pm, 6pm THOMSON EUROPEAN COLLECTION
Nostos Collectives, an autonomous group of emerging contemporary dance artists based in Halifax & Toronto, will present original and innovative choreography & performance.
2pm, LEVEL 5
Mixed Methods invites artists and thinkers to explore a topic inspired by Hito Steyerl’s work in an informal, in-gallery conversation. Join criminal lawyer Kate Robertson for a talk that explores cyber security, stalkerware, and how law adapts to technological change.
3pm, WALKER COURT
Join us for a performance by Cheldon aka SlowPitchSound, who is known for his use of the turntable as a musical instrument and his experimentation with sound, visuals and live performance.
5 - 6pm (including Q&A), BAILLIE COURT
Are you an aspiring or emerging singer and/or songwriter looking to learn more about the music industry? Join us for “In Conversation with a l l i e” – where the Polaris Prize-nominated and Toronto-born singer/songwriter will speak about the skills that propelled her career and established her distinct R&B sound. Space is limited and spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. “In Conversation with a l l i e” is generously supported by the RBC Emerging Artists Project.
7pm, WALKER COURT
Toronto-born singer/songwriter a l l i e takes the stage in Walker Court, with a performance that blends her dreamy and eclectic brand of R&B.
