Art Carts 2019

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – we heart Art Carts! When visiting the AGO it’s hard not to feel inspired by the masterpieces on view. Itching to create? It doesn’t matter if you’re an experienced artist or a complete newbie - you can pop by one of our roving Art Carts and get making among the spectacular works in the AGO Collection.

Our Art Carts, generously supported by Upper Canada College, encourage you to discover and explore your creativity and enhance your drawing ability through hands-on activities. You can find an  Art Cart throughout the galleries on Saturdays and Sundays between 11 am and 4 pm jam- packed with materials,  activities to help you on your artistic journey. Whether through drawing, watercolour, or multi-sensory experiences, there’s an Art Cart waiting for you!

Simply locate the Art Cart by asking an AGO staff member or Gallery Guide, grab the materials from inside and start creating. Whether you’re new to art or looking to brush up on your skills, no need to worry – Art Carts are for everyone! And the AGO Collection provides the perfect setting for your practice.

Once you’re done, be sure to share your works of art with the hashtag #AGOMakes. Want more art-making opportunities? For a full list of workshops, click here.
