The spread of COVID-19 is changing the ways we communicate and stay in touch with each other.  What was once so normal – seeing a movie, going out for dinner, visiting an art museum – are anything but normal today.

During these unprecedented times, when people are practicing physical distancing to help flatten the coronavirus curve, we all need to find ways to remain connected to our families and friends. To feel part of the larger community. And connect with the things that bring happiness to our lives – like art, music, and entertainment.

Since we closed our doors to the public, we have been looking at how we can connect with you.

On March 27 we launched AGO from Home, a new way to enjoy the museum from your home, bringing you into the building virtually through unique access to stories and experiences. AGO from Home will give everyone a chance to engage with art and our team at the AGO through interesting and diverse stories, videos, and closer looks at artwork as well as some DIY and How-To videos.

AGO from Home is our way of bringing people together – to see, experience and understand the world in new ways through art. AGO from Home is our way of staying connected to all of you and to help get through this together.

As a non-profit arts organization, the AGO is grateful for your continued support.
Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. And follow the hashtag #AGOfromHome to see what we’re up to.
