Have an art-tastic summer!

Do you know a young artist looking for an awesome way to spend the summer? At AGO Summer Art Camps, our campers create amazing art projects.
In our one- and two-week summer camps, self-expression and fun are key as young artists discover and play while exploring the AGO’s galleries. Every Friday, we hold an exhibition of campers’ artistic creations, and parents, caregivers, friends and family are invited to view these young artists’ work.
And from what we’ve seen, we’ve got some very talented campers. Check out some of the art they’ve created so far this summer:
Each of our camp programs is inspired by aspects of our exhibitions and collections. Campers can take flight with our Aviators camp, where they’ll explore Leonardo da Vinci’s amazing flying machines and create blueprints for their own winged inventions. Sign up now for session 3 (July 30 – August 10).
Our Transformers camp explores the magic of transformation in art – campers experiment with techniques like printmaking cool patterns and creating wild watercolours. Spots are available in Transformers session 4 (August 13 – 24).
Looking for art fun the family can have together? Check out our Drawing in the Galleries class: youngsters age eight to 10 and their caregivers or parents can build drawing skills with inspiration from the AGO Collection all around them.
Whether it’s camp or courses, this summer we’ve got your young artist covered!
